Quality Overview

The process of peptide quality assurance at Verified Peptides is not the last step in the chain of actions – it is integrated into each phase of supply.

The consistency of products is extremely important for researchers, as any compound, which has not been checked on purity or whose identity was not confirmed by molecular analysis, will bring uncontrollable variables into your experiments and data.

This is why every product in Verified Peptides catalogue goes through a documented multi-stage quality process before it is approved for supply. If a batch does not meet our quality specifications, it is not released for supply.

Purity Standards – HPLC ≥98%

The starting point for our peptide quality assessment lies in HPLC – high-performance liquid chromatography.

What HPLC measures:

  • The purity of the compound concerning its overall chromatogram peak area
  • Any presence of impurities, degradation products, or contaminants in the compound
  • Whether the primary compound adheres to the required purity criterion

Our standards:

  • Minimum HPLC Purity ≥98% for each product in each batch.
  • Data reported and cited in the Certificate of Analysis
  • Any batch that does not meet the specified purity requirement is excluded from release.

Batch Testing

Each batch of our laboratory standards peptides produced by Verified Peptides undergoes independent third-party testing, not just internal validation.

The procedure for batch testing is as follows:

  • Mass spectrometry analysis – to validate the molecular weight based on the theoretical mass and verify consistency with expected molecular specifications
  • Independent third-party laboratory testing – performed by accredited analytical labs outside Verified Peptides
  • Batch identification – each batch is identified by a unique batch code and undergoes its own testing, not a representative test of an entire batch
  • Traceability – batch documentation is kept on file and cited in the Certificate of Analysis provided with every shipment

We do not rely on manufacturer-provided data alone. Independent validation is a mandatory step in our peptide quality testing protocol.

Sterile Packaging

Peptide materials can be sensitive to environmental conditions during storage and transport. The way they are packaged is important for ensuring their integrity upon delivery.
