Advertising and Claims

Last updated: 29 Sep 2026

The way research materials are described matters. A few words can change how a statement is understood, especially when scientific terminology, laboratory data, or potential research areas are involved.

At Verified Peptides Australia, we aim to keep a clear line between providing factual product information and making claims that suggest a therapeutic outcome.

How we approach product claims

Our website publishes information that describes research materials, their analytical characteristics, and the associated quality processes.

Where relevant, this information may include details such as peptide identity, purity, batch information, analytical methods, storage considerations and available Certificates of Analysis (CoAs).

We avoid presenting research peptides as products intended to diagnose, treat, prevent or cure a disease or medical condition. We also avoid language that could reasonably create an expectation of a particular health outcome.

Scientific information needs context.

Peptides are widely discussed in scientific literature. Citing that research doesn’t mean a product will yield the same result.

When we discuss scientific studies on this website, we aim to make the context clear. This includes distinguishing between laboratory research, animal studies and human clinical research where that distinction is relevant.

Research findings can also have limitations. A result from one study should not automatically be treated as established evidence for a broader claim.

Claims should be supportable.

Statements about measurable product characteristics should be based on information that can reasonably support them.

For example, where we publish a purity figure or information about identity testing, it should relate to appropriate analytical documentation for the relevant material or batch.

We do not consider vague terms such as “premium”, “advanced”, or “high quality” to be substitutes for useful evidence. Where possible, researchers should be able to look at the underlying testing information and make their own assessment.

Research-use wording

The words “research use only” are not intended to override Australian law or change how a product may be regulated.

They describe the stated purpose of the material on this website. They should not be read as permission for human use, clinical use or any other activity that may be subject to separate Australian requirements.

Keeping our public information under review

Website content changes over time, as can regulatory guidance and scientific understanding.

For that reason, we periodically review product descriptions, educational pages and other public-facing material. Where wording is unclear, unsupported or could give the wrong impression about a product’s intended purpose, it may be revised or removed.

Our aim is straightforward: provide useful research information without turning scientific discussion into unsupported promotional claims.

The products and information offered by Verified Peptides are intended for legitimate laboratory, analytical and scientific research applications only. Products are not for human or veterinary use, and are not therapeutic goods. The results of studies should be interpreted based on the experimental model and the limitations of the existing evidence base.

Product information and educational materials are provided only for research and informational purposes and must not be interpreted as medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.
